This workshop is designed to help caregivers manage the COPD patient.
- Review the Pathophysiology of COPD.
- Describe components of diagnosis, and the clinical and physical assessment for a COPD patient including: Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) Assessment and Management Spirometry Diffusing capacity Oximetry.
- Discuss the management techniques currently used in stable and exacerbations of COPD.
